How we work

One managed path, concept through construction.

Most firms just house a few architects and engineers. NAXA is a management team that orchestrates every discipline your project needs and runs the city back-and-forth, so you get one accountable team driving your plans to RTI, Ready to Issue, instead of chasing a dozen consultants.

1

Feasibility & due diligence

Zoning, unit count, and highest-and-best-use.

2

Design & architecture

Concept through construction documents.

3

Engineering

Structural, civil, and MEP, including light-gauge and structural steel.

4

Specialty consultants

Geotechnical, Title 24 energy, fire, acoustical, lighting, all coordinated by us.

5

Plan check & corrections

We manage the city submittals and corrections.

6

RTI: Ready to Issue

Plans approved and ready to permit. A milestone, not the finish line.

7

Construction administration

As engineer of record, we stay on through construction, structural observation reports, submittals, and inspections, to Certificate of Occupancy. Through the TESH group, we can build it too.

What we do

The projects we take on.

Whatever you are building, one team carries it from feasibility to RTI, and the TESH group builds it.

Fire rebuild · Altadena · Palisades · Malibu

Rebuilding after the fire, from lot to keys.

For owners rebuilding after the Eaton and Palisades fires, NAXA runs the whole effort: feasibility and insurance scope, Chapter 7A / WUI design, non-combustible structural engineering, and the expedited rebuild permitting that gets your plans to RTI. Then, through the TESH group, your home is rebuilt in light-gauge steel.

  • Feasibility, insurance scope, and the option to add an ADU
  • Chapter 7A / WUI-compliant, non-combustible design
  • Expedited rebuild permitting, managed to RTI

One integrated group

We do not just design and engineer it. The group builds it.

NAXA is the design, engineering, and management front of the TESH integrated group. Independent in identity, connected in capability.

Plan to keys

Feasibility and design at NAXA, engineered and managed to RTI, then fabricated and erected by the TESH group, and delivered as a finished building.

Inspect, design the repair, build it

When an SB-721 or SB-326 inspection finds a problem, we design the repair and the group builds it. One team from finding to fix.
